	Five Points for Tommy Z!


	March 2, 2017. Wags Vs. Crooked Stix Wags called up Craig "Old" McDonald from the farm to play goalie and he was outstanding. The game started with great saves by both goalies. Neither team was able to score until Kyle "Killer" Sandowski scored a power play goal with an assist from Ryan "Bara" Kuta early in the second period. One minute later, Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka blew a slap shot off of the goalie's stick and into the net. Killer Kyle got the assist for passing the puck to Jeff at the Blue line. Three minutes later, (7:10) the Barracuda made the crooked Stix pay for their second penalty when he took a pass from Kevin "Smooth as" Glass and scored their second power play goal. Tommy Z-MAN Zagorski scored 2 tap in goals to give Wags


	Jeff gave Craig MacDonald all of the goals that he needed for the shutout win.


	a 5-0 lead going into the 3rd period. Tory "Snuffy" Snick got the assist on his first goal and Jay "Roadrunner" Demaria was credited with an assist on Tom's second goal. Spear Gun Dan Lopatka and Ryan "Bara" Kuta set up little brother Jason "Bara" Kuta for a goal at 13:33. Speed Racer Jeff blew another slap shot through the goalie after Tory gave him the pass with 4:58 left in the game. Tommy Z picked up his hat trick when Tory Snick set him up and picked up his 3rd assist with 1:51 left. The Big Barracuda added insult to injury when he made it 9-0 with assists going to Killer Kyle and little brother Jason. I was a very strange game with no scoring in the first 19 minutes, then 9 goals in the next 26 minutes. Craig "Old" MacDonald tossed a shutout.	These 2 Duffers had 5 goals!


I went to Peoria to see the Rivermen.	When you beat the same team 3 days in a row, tempers are short.
	I donated my Duffers Hockey jersey to Jill Stotz to hang on the wall in her bar. She was thrilled especially after Hall of Fammer Denis Sevard and Ben Oskroba added their signatures to mine and the many other not so famous signatures. The jersey will be on display at Darling's Dine & Draft at 4450 N. Prospect Suite S1, Peoria Heights, Illinois 61616
