	Summer League Champs!


	August 7, 2016. Wags Vs. Crooked Sticks Both teams had a hard time getting started when both goalies were stopping everything. The Crooked Sticks finally scored a goal with only 1:25 left in period one. The great goaltending continued through most of the second period as the Crooked Sticks clung to their 1-0 lead until Thomas "t&a" Ambrosia took a pass from Jack "Idea" Iandoli, fired a shot that was blocked, but he got his rebound and buried it to tie the game with 6:18 left in period two. That

	goal and several slap shots to the chest by Speed Racer Jeff seamed to softened up the goalie because he gave up 2 more goals before the period ended. Killer Kyle Sandowski scored Jay "Roadrunner" Demaria. Steve Gaul made it 3-1 a couple of minutes later to cap off in the second period. Forty five seconds into the 3rd period, Gaul Man scored again with an assist going to Mike "M&M" Matker. 90 seconds later, the Roadrunner added 2 unassisted goals to take a 6-1 lead! The Crooked sticks woke up and scored 2 goals to give them hope. The M&M man got called for tripping and when he protested, he go 2 more minutes in the sin bin. Wags not only killed off the 4 minute penalty, but Jay scored a short handed goal with 7:04 left to play. Bobby "Serial Killer" Killian and T&A picked up assists on Jay's Hat Trick. With 3:00 left in the game, Bobby set up Steve Gaul's Hat Trick. The well rested M&M Man came out of the box and scored an unassisted goal to give Wags a 9-3 Championship win. Ed "The Wall" Waghorne picked up the 9-3 win with 22 saves. The Crooked goalie made 34 saves and he was seen in in the pro shop looking for a


	bullet proof chest protector after taking quite a few shots to the chest from Jeff.

	Angry Pirates are Sedated!


	July 14, 2016. Angry Pirates Vs. Wags The Angry Pirates were really angry at game time when only 5 of skaters showed up. Wags had 3 lines and offered to give them a few players, but they were too angry to accept. It only took Son of a Duffer (SOD) Thomas "t&a' Ambrosia 54 seconds to solve the Pirate goalie with a goal set up by Kevin "Smooth as" Glass And Steve Gaul. The Pirates tied it a minute later. The game stayed tied for the next 10 minutes until Mike "M&M" Matker was set up by Duffers Tommy Z and Uncle Dan. Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka took a pass from his uncle Dan and made it 4-1 with 33 seconds left


	All 4 Duffers had points.


	in period one. Glass Man assisted on the play. Ten seconds into the 2nd period, t&a scored again with assists from Tommy Z and the Gaul Man. Two minutes later, t&a returned the favor and set up Gaul to give Wags 4 unanswered goals and a 5-1 lead. The Pirates finally managed to get one past Ed "The Wall" Waghorne to stop the bleeding with 11:16 left in period 2. A late arriving Pirate gave the Angry Pirates a 6th attacker, but M&M killed the euphoria with an unassisted goal at 10:05. Tommy Z added a shorthanded goal when he redirected a blast from Speed Racer into the goalie's pads then poked in the rebound to make it 7-2. The Pirates managed to score a goal to end the scoring in the second period. Jack Iandoli made it 8-3 early in the 3rd with an unassisted goal. Tomas "t&a" Ambrosia ended the scoring with his Hat Trick goal in the closing minutes that was assisted by the M&M Man. Ed "The Wall" Waghorne picked up the 9-3 win with 17 saves. The Pirate goalie made 30 saves.
