3-0.  Glass fired a pass to a speeding Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka who burned the last man standing when he took him wide left.  Jeff then crossed in front of the goalie and tucked it in with the 4th goal in just 8 minutes and 45 seconds.  Number 13 became bad luck for Ed "The Wall" Waghorn when he ruined the shutout with 5:16 left in period one.  Number 18 scored 2 goals early in the second period to make it 4-3. The Backdoor Boys got their hopes up. Tony the Tiger fired a 100 foot pass that sprung Speed Racer Lopatka for his second goal with 9:48 left to play in period two.  That goal set off a string of 5 unanswered goals in the next 15 minutes, while Ed "The Wall" stopped all 12 shots.  Killer Kyle scored with an assist from Swastek. 13 seconds later,  Swastek scored with an assist from Kevin "Jacko" Jackabowski.  Smooth as Glass scored his second goal when he teamed up with Speed racer Lopatka with 2:09 left in period number two. That made the score 8-3.  Jay "Roadrunner" DeMaria opened the third period scoring with an assist from Jacko Jackabowski. That goal  gave Jay's Roadrunner line 5 goals! The scoring slowed down until the final minutes when each team scored 2 goals to make the final score 11-5. Swastek scored with 1:09 with assists going to Killer and Jacko.  The score sheet has Swastek scoring his 4th goal with 23 seconds left in the game.  Killer Kyle was credited with his 4th assist!. I thought Jacko got a goal, so the scorer may have been confused when he had to write numbers 23, 24 and 25 fourteen times!  John

Tiger" Letto made up a  stellar trio of defensemen that shut down the Backdoor Boys.
