have a win.  Wags scorers have averaged 9.1 goals per game While Ed has only allowed an average of 4.3 GPG during this winning streak.  It looked like wags had another easy win when Phil "The Man" Manono stole a pass and walked in all alone and roofed a shot past the 6-5 Pirate goalie just 1 minute and 26 seconds after the opening face off.  90 seconds later, Kevin "Smooth as " Glass set up Olindo Alo "Lotion" for a goal to give Wags an early 2-0 lead.  The Haller guy cut the lead in half a minute later when the beat Lopatka with a nice passing play.  The Wags peppered the behemoth Pirate goalie with 16 shots in the next 10 minutes, but he blocked them all.  It took 15 minutes to get that goal back when Jay scored with assists going to Tony Letto and Gerstner.  Jay added an unassisted power play in the closing minutes of period 2 to give the Wags a comfortable 4-1 lead.  That comfort turned to worry sweat when the Pirates scored 2 quick goals in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd period.  The Wags snipers continued to snipe unsuccessfully for the rest of the game while Uncle Dan had to make some great saves to bring home a thrilling 4-3 win.  The Wags shooters put 47 shots on net.  The pirates put 22 shots on Dan with a final flurry of shots when they pulled their goalie.  Wags out slashed the Pirates 2-1.  (Mike "M&M" Miller and Torey "Snuffy" Snick ) The Pirates out hooked the Wags 2-0. Dan Lopatka made 19 saves while the Pirate goalie made 43.  Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka made another defender limp off after blocking his shot.  Wags players have been getting out of the way when Jeff cranks up his shot.
