Waghorne Feasts on Roadkill

The Wags Warriors jumped on the Roadkill early and often for 5 first period goals, while Ed Waghorn held the opponents to 1 goal in the opening period.  Steve Pighini (#14) was credited with the first goal at the 1:53 mark of the first period, even though he was not at the rink.  Dan Granato got the first of his four goals only 39 seconds later with an assist from Steve.  4 minutes and 20 seconts, Russ Real made it 3-0 when he fired a shot at Tom Zagorski, who was crashing the net.  The pass hit someone and went in.  10 seconds later, a white dude named Grady Hamilton got the Roadkill on the board to make it 3-1 with 8 minutes left to play in the period.  Dan Granato got that goal back at

And 10 more for abuse of the official.  For a total of 34 minutes at the 1:35 mark.  Russ Real made them pay with a power play goal that was set up by Joe Fenzel and Mike Lodas.  The Roadkill scored 3 quick goals in a 2 minute span to make it 6-4.  Steve made it 7-3 at the 13:33, but Grady scored again with 6:45

left to play.  Dan Granato put the dagger in the Roadkill with a shorthanded goal to ice the play off Championship
