Season Finale !

Romeoville, IL April 15, 2016  Attendance: 26
Beak Remembered the following:

The Whites built a big lead with goals by Berserk, T&A, TO, Drago Joe (2) and Snowman Dan Smith, who scored his second Duffer goal.  He was presented with the puck from his first Duffer goal after the game.
Reds came back once they solved Barron with goals by MiniWheezer (2) Cupcake, Monet Mike maybe.  I forget the rest. Thanks to Tom O'Connor for bringing our beer and Greg Z for bringing the bag with ice. A Big thank you to Steve and Matt Hammer for providing a great cookout.  See the Duffer Facebook page for pictures until I can post some on my web page.

We had a great turnout for our season finale. Stump even played!

The end of season selfi pictures came out great!  (Nobody crashed the boards and shook the camera)
The Game as T&A Remembers:
Whites 10
: Snowman , Berserk -2, Vman -1, Drago -1, Birdman -1, Greg Z -1, TO -1 & Olgie -2.
Reds = 5: Hammer -1, Mini-Wheezer -2, Kyle "Stumpette"-1 and T&A
Fruitcake Fred won the Fred Bobka Imperfect Attendance Award for the 3rd straight year.  Fred has never gone to the bar, so that disqualifies him from receiving the Tim "Basketball Jones" Smith Perfect Attendance Award.  The Czar thought Fred should be recognized for his Duffer Dedication, so we created the Fred "Fruitcake" Bobka Imperfect Attendance Award two years ago. Unfortunately Fred was not present at the awards presentations at the last 2 picnics. (He likes to eat and run and avoid the spotlight.).  Beak gave up his chance to get the Tim Smith award again this year when he went to Arizona and missed one game, but he did play 2 Duffer games in Detroit to give him one more game played than Fred.

Commander Ken and Ryan say Thank You

Beak - Please consider including the below picture and a big THANK YOU to all the Duffers in your next post. The Duffers were Ryan's largest support group for this very expensive team. Ryan is the farthest to the left on the bottom row. Ryan's BRICK team won the elite division of the Chi-Town Shuffle this past weekend. They beat the Minnesota BRICK team in the finals, 3 - 2. They play next in Winnipeg in June, and then

the 8 day BRICK tournament in Edmonton in July. Wish him good luck!

We had great food, thanks to Steve and Matt.

This was one of 3 auto pictures taken by Beak's Cannon Sure Shot.

Beak had 10 seconds to get into the picture.

Beak presented Snowman Dan with his first Duffer goal puck.

Cupcake and Fruitcake Bobka.

Carmela and Chris did a great job refereeing for us.

Eddie doesn't look 61 does he?
