Brain Bounces Back After Being Benched By Beak!
Eddie the Anvil was added to Team Columbus at game time and Stump brought in some Crown Royal to celebrate the goalie strike that was averted. We will have the best Bloody Mary cocktails on the bus to Columbus. Terry "Crash" Nance gave the Whites an early lead when he put a rebound past the Anvil on the first shift.  Tom "T&A" Ambrosia made it 2-0 with a sneaky goal that I never saw.  The Czar cut the lead in half when he beat the well rested Brain like a rented mule.

Trivia Question Answer

Tommy Z put on a rare show of power when he blew a wrist shot and a slap shot past the Anvil to give the Whites a 4-1 lead.  A  mathematical dispute broke out when Beak said, "Let's get a goal and cut the lead in half."  The Czar smugly replied, "You can't cut a 3 goal lead in half with a goal." (He is such a smart ass)  After that discussion, the Bookie went into the corner and wrestled the puck away from Crash and dropped it to Mini Wheezer who fired a bullet into the crease where Tom 'TO" O'Connor redirected it past the startled Brain to make it 4-2. V-Man scored to make it 5-2 and then TZ had a clean break away, but he didn't want to score a hat trick and get booed, so he fired a shot at the Anvil's pads and the shot missed the pads and caught the corner of the net.  He did got booed as he skated past the Red bench.  He said he was sorry, but the damage was done as the Whites went up 6-2. Mini Wheezer dazzled the Brain and cut the lead to 6-3.  Beak asked the Czar if that goal cut the lead in half.  The Czar looked confused as he nodded. Jim "Rags" Ragland fired a low ice hugging shot as the game clock clicked down to the final second.  The puck went through a maze of legs and hit the back of the net just as the final horn sounded.  Rags looked ashamed.

Memorable Moments:

  • Alien and Mini Wheezer had a Klinger Krash just after Mike worked his velocity up to ramming speed while the Alien was standing at the blue line.  Mini Wheezer put an Original Wheezer crash on him and the "boat of em" went sliding into the zone leaving skid marks on the ice that were 10 meters long.*
  • We had Chocolate Chip Cookies to go with the Crown Royal thanks to T&A's daughter
  • Anvil opened his wallet and $500 flew out and he made the final cut for Team Columbus
*Ask a Canadian, they  know what meters are

  • Thanks to Brinks for the beer

Trivia Question Answer
Now that we have 2 goalies for our trip, we could still use one more slow forward and one mediocre defenseman; Just tell the Czar and show up with $500 on Wednesday or Thursday and he will have a room for you.
