The Brain was back and snuffed the rumors that he was away skiing on a bunny hill with the Anvil. He was treated rudely by some of the tired and cranky Red Rovers.  Bill BTW gave him an ice shower when he was down covering the puck.  Later Beak dislodged a partially covered  puck and knocked it behind the net.  Beak quickly (If you can picture that) retrieved the puck and fired it at the Brains pads.  Brian was able to wedge it against the post until Mini Wheezer started poking at it.  That got Brian's "Irish Up" until cooler heads prevailed.  The following Regular Duffers that helped us get to 3 lines in 2010 and 2011 were AWOL: Stump, Fruitcake, Cup Cake, GI Joe, Alien, Bookie, Geno, Thor's Son, Rembrandt, Piggy Back and Dave the goalie.  The following Duffers were missing with legitimate excuses.  Brinks, Drago, Klinger, Knarf and Harvey, who lost his party hat.
It is hard to remember who won, let alone who scored after downing some beers, Crown Royal, Chili, cookies and treats, but T&A came to the rescue with the following report:  The Czar had 2 goals for the Reds.  The second was a break away that Beak got a helper on when he banged one past a pinching Rags.  The puck hit our little referee, Dillon, who also got an assist.  Greg Z and Bill BTW also scored to give the Reds and Dan Smith  4-3 win.  Thor had 2 goals for the Whites that were set up by Tweedy.  Steve got a weird goal that started when Goalie Smith made a great save on a Tweedy break away.  The puck landed in the crease and Beak pushed it toward the corner, but it hit "The Diver" and headed toward the goal line where our Pittsburgh

goalie grabbed it as it was crossing the goal line. His momentum pushed it across the line.
