Hats Off for Big Buff & Mini!

Romeoville, IL 05/7/2010    The Score for 2010 is Whites 92, Reds 92!
    Attendance 29

Eddie the Anvil, found out that the White sweater was not as bad as he feared.  (He shut out the Rampage on May 1st.)  When the Brain put up the "Gone Fishing" sign then Art and 3 Granatos put on White sweaters, he figured , "How bad can it be."  The Anvil's scoreless streak shattered on the first shift when Tommy "TZ" Zagorski pick off a pass from Art and fired a wrist shot past Eddie to give the Reds a quick 1-0 lead.  The second shift wasn't any better as Bill The Maestro Conti fired a shot past him to put the Reds up 2 just 3 minutes into the game.  John "Mr. Magoo" Landry cut the

lead in half 7 minutes later when Donny "The Coach" Granato set him up with a beautiful pass.  Donny added a goal of his own that turned the guest goalie inside out.  This was one of the fastest paced games of the year, because each team had 3 full lines and they were changing every minute or two.  V-Man gave the Whites a lead late in the period, but Terry "Crash" Nance tied it at 3 just before the period ended.  Coach Granato worked some more magic and set up his Dad (Brinks) to give the Whites a 4-3 lead, but Mini Wheezer and Bill BTW took the lead back with a goal each and Dave "The Goalie Agent" Young gave the Reds a 6-4 lead that lasted until Art blew one past Rob, the Rookie goalie.  The Reds took a slim 6-5 lead into the third period.  Magoo tied the game with another assist from "Da Coach".  V-Man made it 7-6 with his second goal, but Crash tied it at 7-7 with his second goal of the game.  That goal not only tied the game score, but it gave the Reds 92 goals for 2010, the same amount that the Whites have!  It was great to see Chris "Berserk" Mazurk, Our Fun Tax Poster Boy, join in the fun.  He told Beak that he has been reading about all of the fun that he has been missing.  Vidas Formica told Beak by e-mail that he wants to play in the Rampage Rematch since he has a meaningful age now.

The Fun Tax poster (Right) was created from a picture of Chris during the famous beer slide event in the 90s in Hayward Wisconsin.
