Stump Comes off of the DL!

Vidas was brought up from Seattle and Stump  was taken off of the DL after the dismal turn out last week, but Formica was sent back down as Duffer attendance doubled.  Stump made the most of his night on the ice as he tipped a shot past Tweedy to give the Reds a 3 goal lead.  Stump also set up both of Johnny "The Vulture" Zagorski's goals and Stump may have set up Harvey's Meaningful goal as the Stump Reds scored 4 times in the first period.  Brinks had the only goal for the Home team in the lopsided first period.  Thor flipped a puck up and over the Brain and as he tried to slam dunk it into the net, he missed it with his forward swing, but he hit it when he pulled his stick back and knocked it out of harms way.  Another memorable moment from our God of Thunder!
It looked like the Reds would run away with it, since they had 3 goalies on the ice.  (The
Ghost at forward, Stump .playing defense and the Brain in the nets)  The Whites had Tweedy tending goal, when they really needed him skating out to get back into the game.  Then it happened, Joe Bobka scored his first Duffer goal to cut the lead in half, just as Tweedy was kicking out everything the Reds could throw at him.  Half way through the third period, Miller Lite made it interesting when he skated past Stump and moved the Whites to within one goal of a tie.  As Tweedy continued to shut out the Reds, Perry, who was on loan from the Charleston Chiefs, fired a low shot from the point that missed everybody, including Stump, the Ghost and the Brain..  That goal gave the Whites a spectacular come from behind 4-4 tie.  The Meaningful game was also a tie as Harvey and Brinks tallied the only Meaningful goals of the evening.
