Hats for Beak, Thor & Papa!

With only 6 skaters on the Whites  and 7 on the Reds, we had a 4 on 4 game that featured an explosion of Meaningful goals.  Beak started the scoring when he hit the inside of the post and beat the Brain early in the first period.  Beak gave Fruitcake a friendly slash when he foiled a break away.  Papa took the puck while Beak was apologizing and slipped it past the Brain for his first of 3 goals.  Knarf fired a puck through a crowd to give the Whites a 3-0 lead.  Thor finally got the Reds on the board when he popped one past Tweedy.  Mr. Clean scored a pair in the second period and then passed up a chance for a hat trick when he played catch with Beak on a 2 on 0.  The Brain was out of moves after the puck moved back and forth 3 times and Beak had an easy tap in.  1 minute later, Beak and Mr. Clean had another 2 on 0, so the Brain started to move for the pass to Boris that never came, Beak buried the puck for his Hat Trick.  Thor put 2 more pucks past Tweedy to keep the Reds in the game.  Rich Storm and Mini Wheezer had goals for the Reds. The funniest moment came when Thor had a clean Break away and he made a move as he approached the net.  He spun out and crashed into the corner with the puck as Harvey waited patiently for a pass in the slot.  Another funny moment came while Rich Storm was stick handling the puck near his own net and Beak engaged him in some friendly conversation.  When Rich Storm held up one hand to let Beak know that he heard that story, Beak poked the puck toward the net where it hit the Brain's skate and rattled around until it came to rest on the goal line!

Thor tells Harvey all about his Hat Trick on Tweedy.
