Reds win 97-96!
Starting with the January 1st game, I started keeping a stats page.  Since that time the Duffers have played 17 regular season games.  The Reds Averaged 5.71 Meaningless goals per game, and the Whites averaged 5.65 Meaningless G/G.  The Reds were 8 and 4 with 5 ties in Meaningless games.  The Reds Averaged .88 Meaningful goals per game, and the Whites averaged 1.71 Meaningful G/G.

Iron Men, Stump and Beak played in all 31 regular season games and 3 more in Arizona.

The Whites were 9 and 3 with 5 ties in Meaningful Games.  With 10 seconds left in the season, each team had 96 goals in 2008.  Tweedy flipped one past the Brain in the closing seconds to give the Reds a 97-96 season total edge.  The Final game of the 2007-08 season  saw the Whites jump off to an early 2-0 lead with goals by The Flea and Fruit Cake.  Tweedy got one of those back, but Back Hand Johnny increased the lead to 3-1.  Beak told Roger that he has to start scoring.  Roger went out and tied the game on his next shift with 2 goals!  Brinks gave the Whites a 4-3 lead, but Tweedy answered that to tie it at 4 goals each.  Art blew one past the Anvil to take a 5-4 lead.  T.O (Tom O'Connor) tied it with a beautiful tip into the top shelf.  Harvey got the Meaningless game winner late in the final period, that goal tied the meaningful contest at 2-2.  He also tied the 2008 season at 96-96!  Tweedy added an insurance goal in the final seconds to give the Reds a 7-5 win.  Stump made 22 saves while playing defense.
Stump and Beak played in 34 games this season without missing a game.  Their Titanium hips will need a lube job before next season.  Frank finished a close second with 33 games this season.  He missed the last game while he was in FLA, the land of the "Underwater Specialists".  Cammi Granato showed up in the 3rd period and wanted to play, but a golf outing made her too late to join into the fun.  She is going to try for our July game.
