Mustangs Finish First!
The Mustangs have been
playing their best hockey of the year as they have scored 7 or more goals
in their last 3 games. They stormed into first place with a convincing
wins over Andrew and Naperville Central last week, then they clinched first
place with a 9-3 win over Downers North on the last game of the season.
The Downers Grove South Mustangs captured the Bob Masterson trophy after 3 straight 2nd place finishes. The Mustangs won the trophy in the 1995-96.
