	The Wags Win it All!


	The high scoring GRZ Line (Granato, Reel and Zagorski) was reduced to Russ. Reel. Tommy Z was put on the DL when a shot fractured his foot and Dan Granato, Wags leading scorer, was AOL so others had to step up and they did. Ed Waghorne saved his best game for the championship. Ed kicked out 28 shots to lead his team to a 9-5 win over a tough Motorhead team that was loaded with their fastest players. Just 2 minutes into the game, the Motorheads took the lead with a break away goal by Gabrielsen. Mark Menzione tied it up with 5:43 left in the period on a pass from Russ.


	Ed put on his "Game Face for the championship game. He had 28 saves


	That tie only lasted 37 seconds as the Motorheads took a 2-1 lead. At the 5:16 mark. Anthony Canzoneri tied it at 2 a minute later. Dan Lopatka gave the Wags their first lead when he slipped one past the Motorhead goalie early in the second period. Mark and Pete Hornik set up the tie breaking goal. 5 minutes later, Anthony scored on a pass from Lopatka to pad the lead, but the Motorheads answered a minute later to make it 4-3 with 5:52 left in the 2nd period. 2 minutes later, The Wags went on a scoring spree and scored 4 unanswered goals. Steve Kueppers started the onslaught with a power play goal when he scored an unassisted goal with 3:38 left in the period. Dan Lopatka put a dagger in when he scored on a pass from Mark with only 2.6 seconds left in the 2nd.


	Dan Lopatka moved up to forward and picked up 5 points!

7 minutes into the final period, Lopatka picked up his hat trick on Mark's 3rd assist. 3 minutes later, Anthony got his "Hat" on a beautiful pass from Dean Paloumpis to make it 8-3 with 5:53 left in the game. The Motorheads wouldn't die, as they scored a minute later, but Wags answered goal and made it 9-4 when Lopatka and Mark set up Hornik with 3:38 left to play. Gabrielsen ended the scoring with 21.8 seconds left to play in the game to make it 9-5.
