We went to the Pierogi Fest in Whiting Indiana on Friday July 27, 2007 and we had a great time, even though we drove through some heavy rain. When we got there, we were looking for shade.

| When I saw the CBS Channel 2 TV truck, I knew Steve Baskerville couldn't be far away, since he usually follows the food trail. Sure enough, Steve showed up and started enjoying the pierogis. Steve made several visits to Randolph when I was a teacher there. Click here to see his Randolph visit. Steve visited my Daughter, Debbie's classroom. |

| While we were at the Pierogi Fest, Dan was in the Florida Keys with
his Ladies. He tried all day to get a signal to call Kathie on her
birthday, but he failed.
