Bur Oak was still green on October 7, 2007.	White Oak was still green on October 7, 2007.
4 London Plane leaves were still green on October 15, 2007.	Color Code 5GY 4/2
3 White Oak leaves were still green on October 15, 2007.	1 White Oak leaf had some orange on October 15, 2007.
All 4 Ginkgo study leaves were Green	Color Code 5GY 4/8
3 London Plane leaves were still green on October 20, 2007.	1 London Plane leaf turned yellow on October 20, 2007.

We defined two Study Trees at Steeple Run School	We tagged this branch. The leaves were still green!

10/30/07The London Plane Tree is still mostly green.	This London Plane Tree leaf is starting to turn.

Most of the Ginkgo leaves have yellowed.	Some of the Ginkgo leaves were green on 10/30/07

We saw 2 deer

They were pretty calm.


On November 2, 2007 Mrs. Nolan's students checked the leaf colors and recorded the GLOBE Color Codes. We finally solved our mystery tree's identity, thanks to Mr. Nolan.	We sent the GPS coordinates to GLOBE for or Study Trees. We are collecting data from 2 trees at the school and 4 at the Morton Arboretum.

Our Ginkgo lost all 4 of our study leaves.	The London Planetree was still green!
The White Oak lost 1 of our study leaves and showed some color.	The Bur Oak lost 2 leaves and 2 are brown and yellow.

In September of 2003, the Naperville School District 203 formed a partnership with the GLOBE Program. We have performed Teacher workshops in the following places:
