Trip to Turner Field

We descended into a deep tunnel and jumped a train. There was a number of homeless people asking for money. |
Then we walked through a scary underground shopping center that led us to a shuttle bus that took us to the park. |
The rain was still falling, so we went to the "Chop House". |
We had 4 bad dogs, 2 beers and 2 cokes for $56.00 plus tip. |
This was taken before we got the bill for the bad dogs. |
Sandi voted for her favorite players. |
Sariano hit the first pitch out over the right field fence. |
In the 2nd & 4th inning, he hit one over the left field fence. |
This was the only bad thing in this game. We had a big head sitting in front of us. He looked like Puddy in Seinfeld. |
The Cubs had a pattern going that produced a 9-1 win. They scored 2-1-0-2-1-0-2-0-1. |
Sandi painted her toenail Cubby Blue. |
We went to Georgia Aquarium. |

The Braves found a way to cool off the red hot Sarino. (3 home Runs in game 2) Hudson drilled him with the first pitch of the game. Both teams were warned, but it didn't mean anything, because the Brave's pitchers threw behind one batter and hit another. The next night Ted Lilly hit their short stop and was thrown out of the game with no warning!

June 25th, 2005 Carole an I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary with all of our children, some of our grand children and 100 friends at the Duffer Picnic.
On Sunday June 26, I watched the Cubs and Mark Prior shut out the White Sox.
June 13th, 2005 I took 3 of my grandchildren to the Willow Brook Wildlife Preserve.
May 28th, 2005 we celebrated my Mom's 92nd birthday.

I do enjoy Baby sitting at the DuPage Children's Museum and the Fullersburg woods.
In July, Carole and I finally picked up our new 2004 Toyota Prius that we ordered last November. The 60 miles per gallon is coming in handy as we visit my Mom after her fall and hip surgery in June. Mom came home in September and is doing well after therapy. See Family pictures.
My sister Pat came to town, so we took a trip with our sister Mary to Ohio, Niagara, Milwaukee and Toronto.
I do some volunteer work for Holy Trinity and St. Rita High Schools.
Getting ready for the Duffer picnic keeps me pretty busy in May and June.
I golf once or twice a year and I go to 2 Jimmy Buffett concerts in August.
I went to Denver in March of 2004, to watch the Avalanche play 2 games. We played 2 games too and I worked up a big thirst, but I behaved myself and stayed on my low carb diet and lost 20 pounds.
We drove to El Paso, Texas right after Christmas for Ann's wedding. We visited the Odessa Meteor crater on New Year's Eve 2003. We stopped at Carlsbad Caverns on the way home.
In May, 2003 my brother, sisters and I threw a surprise party for my mom's 90th Birthday. Go to Mom's Party Pictures.
I have a 2 hour lunch with my high school pals every month. See Holy Trinity.

On January 12, 2003, I went to watch my Grandson win a tournament in the Dells, Wisconsin. I captured a great video of my 2 year old grandson taking an ice cube out of his pants and eating it. American's Funniest Videos has asked for written permission to view it. Stay tuned......

I went to the Big Island with my Sister in August 2002. She made me eat good foods and walk 4 or 5 miles every day. I lost 10 pounds and I feel great:

My hockey team was featured in the Sun and Frank and I were the "cover boys."
