*Many Firsts on the First Late Night game in Years!

The last time the Duffers played hockey at 11:00 P.M. on a Friday night, Tweedy was our 9 year old referee at the Downers Grove ice arena. On this night, Tweedy was the 35 year old goalie that picked up the First win of the 2005-06 season. He had plenty of help from his 14 year old nephew Jeff, who scored the First Duffer goal of the season and then scored 2 more in his first game as a legal Duffer.


	Tina got to serve the Duffers for the first time in over a year.

Tommy Z and Jeff had the first Hat tricks of the year. Tweedy just missed picking up the First shut out of the year. Jeff's Dad, Ken scored the only 3 goals on his little brother, Tweedy, late in the game. One was the First disputed goal of the season. Tim Smith, who went all of last year without scoring a goal (On the opposing goalie) scored his First and second goals of his Duffer career. Harvey had the First meaningful 2 goal game of the year and Hitman scored his First goal for the Reds. Beak missed skating in his first opener since the early 1970s. He did show up with a note pad and pen to capture some quotes. When He asked Fruit Cake what it felt like to be a minus 20, Fred just lifted his middle finger, Fred's team mate, Rich Storm, said, "lifting his finger was the most work he did all night!" The Brain suffered the First blow out loss of the year. Perry "the Flea" played his First Duffer game since 2004. Welcome back!! Beer Nuts played his First game since his back went out last season.
