| The August 4th summer skate provided plenty of ice time as
we skated 4 on 4 with only 8 skaters on a team. A 15 pack of Strohs
only left 3 guys without a beer.
(The guy that bought it and the 2 Goalies went beer less) The pace was much slower than the July game because only 1 female fan was in the stands. She inspired Harvey to do a 360 spin-a -rama and put the game out of reach with a goal for the Blues. Beer Nuts had scored in the 2nd period to give the Blues the Meaningful lead. Stump was spectacular as he shut out the Meaningful Whites. Roger was able to score 2 Meaningless goals while Stump stopped him 8 or 9 times. |
Berserk may have had one, but he was under control this week. Johnny
Z and Doc picked several corners on Drano. Tweedy also solved him
on the first shift. Drano made a spectacular kick out save when Beak
tipped a Butt Head pass. Rich Storm made the most unusual play when
he gloved the puck behind Stump's net and held on to it for 5 or 6 seconds,
then he avoided a hand pass by flipping it into the air and swatting it
into the slot where Joe Jr. tapped it in for an illegal meaningless goal. |

| Get ready for the Persied Meteor shower on August 11-12. All you have to do is find a nice dark spot on the satellite image above and go there. Watch the sky in the north east for shooting stars. |
| We Leave for Wally World in Florida on 8/10/00! Since Wally bought homes in Charleston SC and Florida, he has been hit by hurricanes twice in each location. What are the odds? That should be the safest place on earth now! Let's go to Wally World for the Persied meteor shower! |
