Welcome to

This week was filled with hockey games. (1 Duffer, 2 high school 2 Pee Wee and 2 Ice Cats games.) Life is good! We got an e-mail from a fan on the east coast that said, "I have been reading your web pages for several years and I have come to the conclusion that the Duffers are a drinking team with a hockey problem."

Beak& Stump Beat Tweedy

Bolingbrook, IL
December 13, 2002

For the third week in a row, Klinger

helped set up a Beak meaningful goal.  This week he fed Hacksaw who fired a pass that Beak poked past Tweedy for an incest goal to give the Whites a 1-0 meaningful lead.  For the third week in a row, it looked like that goal would lose it's game winner status in the final minutes, but this time Brian the Brain made 2 spectacular saves on Magoo as the final buzzer closed out the exciting game.
The Meaningless contest went to the Reds as Zagnuts went nuts and couldn't stop himself from whacking pucks into the net. (Tom said Tweedy made him do it) Stump floated another goal in from the point. Our Guest and Lorenzo also scored.

(Left to Right)  Minni Wheezer, Knarf, Beak and Beer-Nuts enjoy a cool Amstel and as they plan their week of fun, hockey and travel.

Christmas Party

Sorry, Hacksaw's Tech Buzz is on Vacation.

Chris and Wendy have graciously  offered to host the 3rd annual Duffer Christmas party at his Deerfield estate on Saturday February 15, 2003. (2 weeks after Las Vegas)

This was a week of non stop activities, so we had to add a second page.  The fun started on Wednesday at Nick's Tavern in Lemont when Beer-nuts, Beak, Knarf and Mini-Wheezer started planning their activities.  They went to the watch the Wolves down the IceCats in Rosemont.  The Duffers had a great turn out, even  Big Wheezer showed up.  The only no shows were Klinger and Hacksaw.

(Left to Right) Beak, Knarf, Berserk and Beer-nuts make a brat stop at the Brat Stop.

The next stop was at the Miller Brewery where they wrote post cards and drank free beer.

On Thursday, Beer-Nuts, Knarf and Beak drove up to the Berserk Barn to ride in the Berserk Van to Milwaukee.  They laughed all the way to the Brat Stop as they watched the Duffer San Jose Video.  Buckshot  heard the van was sold out  so he had to drive up by himself.  He didn't know that Klinger and Hacksaw dropped out for the second day in a row.

A pre-game meal at Turners where Brinks and Coach Granato stopped by to give us tickets and a game plan.

Buckshot joined us for dinner and the game.

Before getting in the van, we posed for a couple of pictures.  We left room so that Rich Storm could insert the Duffers that had to miss the trip.

At the Miller Brewery, we saw a pallet of Strohs that was headed for Grant Importing.  Beak stopped to rest at the Aging Tank, Frank claimed the Fermenter tank and Chris was placed at the Settling Tank, since he has to settle down next year.

Frank did his impersonation of the King as he checked the bill, counted the money and paid the bill.  The next day he had enough money left over to pay for our hockey.

We watched the Ice Cats beat the Milwaukee Admirals 4-3.  Thank you to Coach Granato for a great week.
