Attendance ?

8-8 Meaningless Tie

The Reds have been on quite a run that started back in October.  (Brinks had a Hat Trick on Friday the 13th on Tweedy and the Reds)  Ever since, The Anvil has been victorious.  Eddie's still hasn't lost a Meaningless game, since Friday's contest ended in an 8-8 tie, according to the Brain's report at the bar.  I broke my perfect attendance streak last week, when I watched Tweedy's kids so that he could play hockey with Tommy at Center Ice.  I got to watch 2 periods of that game.  Tommy had a nice goal and Tweedy set up Emil's 48 year old brother, Chris, for a nice tip in.  They had an early lead, but their opponents had 2 full lines of 20 something guys and a great goalie.  Tweedy and Tom only had 5 skaters and a goalie when the game started.  Harvey would have loved it, no line changes.  (I did manage to keep my Wild Wing perfect attendance intact.) The following report of the Duffer game was compiled from reports at the bar and e-

mails from Rob, Perry, Fruit Cake and the Brain:

What I remember: For the Reds, Perry got a couple, one on a nice backhand, and Bill BTW got one, maybe more. I don't recall the others, but I do not think that they got any Meaningful goals on me. Fred put one into his own net on Eddie, so I am not sure if that counts as a White or Red goal. For the Whites, I know that Don got 1, and the friend of Granato* got at least one. Thor should have had about 5, but I dont think he got any. My friend Ed, who to is friends is known as "Special Ed", got his first 2 Duffer goals, and also added 2 assists for a great showing on his 4th skate with us.   The Brain
The Brian has most of the facts. Bill BTW had two. Bill Conti had one. Mike Presecky had one. I had three (hard to believe). No meaningful for the Reds.  Brinks scored a beautiful goal. Robbie G scored at least two. Brian's friend "Special Ed" scored two as well. He played very well. Rob's friend's name was Bruce.  He scored at least one maybe two. My Dad tells me the Whites won 9-7. Regards,  Perry

*My "friends" name is Bruce. but he definitely needs a nick name. I suggest "pretty boy" because he spends more time on his hair than any chick I know!  Rob
I did not put one past Eddie. Rob Granato's friend is Bruce. Thanks, Fred
