THANKS Stump and his family would like to thank all of the Duffers for the cards, gifts and support. Muzzy had Stump laughing as soon as he tripped into the parlor. Ken couldn't believe the response, since he only told one guy. It was a tough Christmas for the Beak family too. Debbie Lopatka underwent emergency surgery Christmas Day to remove an abscess from her brain that was caused by an ear infection. Debbie is recovering quite nicely at home and would like to thank everybody for the cards and gifts. She has plenty of flowers now, her room is filled with them. If you must send a gift, send something that will keep her second graders in their seats, like hand cuffs.
Thanksgiving morning provided us with two of the youngest team averages in Duffer history. The Whites clocked in at 38.4 ,and that is with Papa Joe factored in. Duffer Bear finally has his stick on the ice. Very much like the 1971 Bear. Wedding Bells for Vidas
Lieutenant Vidas Cemarka has invited the Duffers to kick off our Silver Anniversary season in San Diego. Vidas will take the plunge 9/9/95. The Military Style (whatever that is?) resception will be on the water's edge of the submarine base. There are three Ice rinks that can help justify our trip. Vidas is sailing on the USS Constellation. He spent Christmas in Hong Kong with his bride to be,, a U.S. Navy Optometrist Lieutenant Mary Ellen Baker. He sailed to Singapore for New Years before heading for the Pursian Gulf. By the time you read this he may be in Melborn, Australia. You can write him at the following address: LT. Vidas Cemarka USS Constellation CV64 Dental Department FPOAP96635-2780
