Eddie got bombed like Pearl Harbor

67 years ago on December 7th, 1940 the Japanese hit Pearl Harbor with everything they had. The Whites didn't have Robby and Donny, so it looked like a chance for the Reds to end their losing streak. Stump called all of the guys in his goalie harem data base and got nothing but rejections, so he strapped on the big pads. The Reds spoiled his shut out on their first shift when Harvey fired a shot that Stump knocked up in the air, where Back Hand Johnny slapped it out of the air and into the net for an early 1-0 lead for the Reds. It looked like a long night for Stump. Thor took advantage of the 15 minute game delay and downed a beer.


	We are ready to party on New Year's Day

He went on to provide a lot of laughs as he had more moves than Ex-lax. Tony Batastini tied the game when he beat the Anvil for his first Duffer goal. That started an assault on Eddie that never let up until the final buzzer when Tony scored his second Duffer goal with 1 second left in the game. Sandwiched in-between those 2 goal were goals by Roger (2), Scott The Bookie, Thor, and Perry. Eddie had a great save percentage, as he kicked out 87 shots and only allowed 8 for a .9195 save percentage! Stump shut the door on the Reds after that first Johnny Z goal to give the Whites an 8-1 win.

New Year's Day Party is set for 11:00 on 1/1/08 Phoenix deposit is due now

Our hard working Leader has arranged for us to have another wonderful party on New Year's Day. (Thanks Mike) The Duffers will skate at 11:00 A.M on 01/01/08 for a $20.00 fee. Ice Skating Party will start after our game around 12:30 P.M. ($5.00 for adults) We are looking for paper goods, (Papa Joe said he will bring some) food, (Perry will bring Lasagna) and drink items (Brinks will bring some Beer). Let Beak know what your contribution is, so that we don't get 50 bags of potato chips and no chocolate chip cookies. (Leftovers from New Year's Eve parties that have been left out all night are fine, we can blame our trips to the can on the chili.) I will bring a 48 cup coffee pot with coffee, cream and sugar. I'll also bring a power strip for 5 other outlets, so that we can blow the fuses in the rink again. You would think a new rink could supply enough power to heat some chili and coffee. The Duffers have a history of blowing fuses, way back when Hacksaw had hair and a 220 W hair drier, He blew


	the main fuse at Saints Spectrum when Harvey turned on his heavy duty hair blower. A few years later, Harvey's hair dryer blew out a fuse at the Peoria Civic Center while the King and Wheezer were sitting in the Hot Tub. Perfect Attendance stays at 5!


	Stump, Knarf, Beak, Kramer's Bookie, and Basketball Jones have not missed a game.


Mini Wheezer enjoys some of Bill Conti's birthday cake	40 trips around the Sun. Bill has a lot of miles on him.
Mrs. Conti surprised Bill with a party to celebrate his 40th birthday. We were all treated to some cake that help neutralize the hot wings.	Tony brought a cooler full of beer on Thanksgiving. Stump brought the leftovers last week and added a case, Tony took the cooler home and it still had beer in it, it was like the miracle of loaves and fishes, only better. We got beer!
