The Alien Invades
The Alien was back, and he screwed up the lines as usual.
He was told to go out on defense, but when Beer Nuts came off yelling, "Left Wing", The Alien jumped out and roamed around, so Beak went out for a shift on defense with Frank.
That gave The Anvil cause for concern, until Special Ed
The Alien came back!
came over from the White team and put on his Red shirt.
That shows why he is so special. As you know, no good deed goes unpunished.
SPED became the 3rd Duffer to lose a double header.* Beak went over to join the White team, so he got 2 wins.
Tommy Z had just scored to put the Reds up, 1-0, but Tweedy scored to tie it at 1.
Brinks added 2 Meaningful goals to give the Whites a 3-1 lead. Tommy scored again, but his brother ,Johnny Z, put it out of reach when he redirected a pass from Basketball Jones and slipped it behind the Anvil to give the Whites a 4-2 win.
The Whites also took home a meaningful shut out. 2-0 *Magoo lost 2 when he was traded for Butt Head on
October first,
1999. Butt Headed set a record that day, when he scored one for each team.
Beevis Coughenour was the first Duffer to lose 2 in one night, a few years earlier.

Art Report from Art The good news on the knee is I didn't damage the ACL or Meniscus (so no surgery). I did however tear the MCL on the inside of the knee. The Orthopedic surgeon says that's the only knee ligament that will repair itself. I have to go for an MRI to make sure that there's no other damage but he said that's just a precaution. I'm out for 6 weeks (skating that is), I might have to show-up for a beer or two some Friday night to make sure I don't get out of drinking shape. ART
